Re: Trustee saleIn Reply to: Trustee sale posted by Gaucho on December 05, 2009 at 9:10 PM : I'm going to bid on my first home a trustee sale Monday. A quick question with respect to how the transaction must be paid for at time of sale. IT maybe a dumb questions, but I assume a cashier's check is required, and without knowing how much the property is going to sell for, how does one go about getting the check amount set to the purchase price? Thanks Gaucho Loco (UCSB Alum?) Most people bring multiple checks. If you think the property will go between $300k and $350k, you can either bring one check or multiple checks that add up to $350k. Any residual funds are refunded to you within a couple weeks. Good Luck
