Posted by scinv on November 18, 2009 at 9:06 PM In Reply to: Your Worst Deal...? posted by Jose M on November 18, 2009 at 2:47 PM worst & ONLY bad deals started like this. got out of california in 2005 (sinking feeling). started buying 2nd's in florida. made 100% profit on 1st 2 deals. bought 2 more 2nd's @ 25 centavos on the dollar, for 5 & 4 K. called the foreclosing lender to re-instate loan, only to be told i had NO LEGAL STANDING to protect my position! numerous calls to ameriquest (don't even start) resulted with reinstatement figures 2 days AFTER the sale! even ward was pretty surprised. guess that's why florida's usery limit is 18%, as opposed to california"s 10%. live & learn. still, lots of fun playing the game!
