Sounds like the pot calling the kettle black to me. Alfred, A property with a pool will almost always be more valuable than one without. Especially in the San Fernando Valley. I've heard from a couple of appraisers that when all else is equal they value a home with a pool about 7K more than one without. FYI, you will need a permit to fill in the pool.
