: Hi Marie,
We had our foreclosure almost 2 yrs ago and I have been struggling to get a mortgage. Luckily our home was in my husbands name, so my credit doesn't show a foreclosure. The problem is that he is the one employed so this poses the obstacle. We have been told 2 yrs due to our medical circumstances with our foreclosure, but the options for us are limited and banks are keeping tight holds on their mortgage money. Try the USDA Loan program as they seem to have slightly different policies. We are still at it and something is bound to give, I hope. Leece
