Rent control restrictions will negatively affect the marketabililty of your rental property.

Call the rent control authority in your area to determine the rental limits they are imposing at the present time.

In 30 years I have never met a rental owner who had anything positive to say about rent control.

: I'd like to get your thoughts on rent control in Los Angeles. I am looking at duplexes and wanted to know whether it's a really bad move to buy something w/ rent control. What are the pros and cons?

: Also, where do you find the rent limits for Los Angeles?
