Where to begin... I want to buy a foreclosure in the Bay Area, CA

Posted by juniorfiles on May 20, 2002 at 6:47 PM

Hello, I am a 1st time buyer. I live in San Jose, CA. The property is quite expensive. I am interested in gaining knowledge about foreclosures. I see a lot of websites out there, but which is most suitable for me is uncertain. Is there anyone in the Bay Area in a similar position? I am willing to meet with someone or trade e-mails. I don't know where exactly to begin. I really don't want to pay the going rate for a home as it is just too expensive. I understand that this is a business in itself. Can anyone offer some guidance or take the time to help me out. Thanks
