Whether negotiating with a car salesman, or a bank with a REO, the last week of the year is a great time to close on some overripe inventory! Banks have tolerable loss limits in mind, and if those have not been met yet, they sometimes let some REOs go at great prices during the final weeks of December. This can also be true at other quarterly closings... It's a good time to casually throw some lowballs out there, and see if you get any bites. Follow Ups: Post a Followup:
