Re: Trustee Sale @ 70% FMV?In Reply to: Trustee Sale @ 70% FMV? posted by M.Osterman on August 15, 2006 at 8:28 AM : I've been in and out of this business over the last few years. I get the itch and want to find deals...get really burned out and then quit...well that has lead me to lose some deals here recently. I've been tracking a few of the foreclosures I gave up on last spring...only to see them sell at 70% FMV at the trustee sales here in the last week. I'm wondering if others out there haves seen similar #'s at the TS? Or are there so many foreclosures hitting the market that the investors can't keep up? Most are going back to the banks. : Mike Mike, At this time there are alot of junior lien holders that are bidding at the sale to protect their interest. It often appears that an outside bidder bought the property at a good value howver the other bidders are just not bidding because they know that there is a "high bid" or an amount in which the junior is protecting to. You may follow the sales and they look like deals but they are really not.
