Realtor's License?

Posted by Tony on July 05, 2001 at 6:09 PM

Hello!

I have just recently decided to begin on the path to financial independence, and would like to do it through real estate investments. I eventually would like to own multi-units, but assume I need to work my way up both financially and in experience. I currently have no knowledge of the real estate business, and have a couple specific questions.

1. Would buying and selling (or renting) foreclosures be a good way to build experience that could apply to owning multi-units; and to building the cash/equity needed for larger properties?

2. Would you recommend obtaining a Realtor's license?

These are just a couple of the many questions I have, and I am seriously considering your one-on-one training. This is very new and exciting to me. I am tired of being a slave to my job. (Just finished reading "Rich Dad, Poor Dad"!) :-)

Thank you!!

Tony
