Title Report vs. Lot Book ReportIn Reply to: Title Report vs. Lot Book posted by Mary-CA on March 04, 2002 at 9:39 AM
: Ward, : My question: What is the difference between a Title Report and a Lot Book? =========== Mary, you can click on the link below and go to the web site of Lotbook.com. They issue the equivalent of a title report for $125.00, but they cant call it such since they arent a title company. They describe themselves as a title search company. I use them several times a year, especially when Im borrowing money from a private party and securing their loan with a foreclosure I just took title to 15 days earlier and I want to prove to the lender that they will be in first place. Hope this helps.
