Notice to quit in New york State

Posted by R. Jiminiz on January 21, 2002 at 7:39 AM

Hi, I have recently obtained a condo property at a foreclosure.
The Original owner is in the property, I have been reading your
forum in regards to a 3 day notice to quit. During the closing
I asked the question, and the bank attorney indicated that a
10 day notice is what applies. I'm confused and don't know which
is the next step and where I can get a sample of the notice. How do I proceed? THank you in advance for your response.

p.s. Is there a website in new york where I can get information?
