Re: Where the returns are best.In Reply to: where to focus? posted by Nelson on January 17, 2002 at 6:29 PM : I've been doing my homework for several months, trying to figure out where to focus in the distressed property cycle. I've been to auctions, looked at REOs, considered short sales after notice of sheriff's sale, wondered about buying discounted mortgage judgements, and talked to a few distressed owners early in the cycle. Each seems to have +/-. I'm curious why you chose one area over another, what drew you to it? Also, where are the returns the best? =•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•= Nelson, most pro’s are dexterous enough to work all aspects of the foreclosure cycle. And as each area moves from easy to tough and back again the pro’s follow along, always trying to stay within the segment that’s in ascension. You don’t have to assign yourself to just one aspect of the business. Keep your options open to move with the flow of the business, where the returns are the best.
