Petition the Lender for RecisionIn Reply to: BANKRUPTCY FORCLOSURE SALE posted by BOB on January 15, 2002 at 8:27 AM We've experienced great success in our request for 'reconsideration'. What it involves is getting the lender to set aside the foreclosure action and allow you to reinstate your loan by paying the amount specified by the lender, represented in the reinstatement figure. Although we have experienced a tremendous success in this area of work, please bear in mind that every loan is unique and presents with a wide range of variables that the lender will use to arrive at a final decision. Of course, the greatest chance for success comes IF the lender at auction becomes the beneficiary and IF the mortgagor is in possession of the full amount needed to reinstate the loan.
