David, when one buys an existing trust deed and note they inherit all the rights and privileges the note seller had. And that includes any ongoing foreclosures concerning the purchased lien. The same goes for existing HOA liens.

So if a homeowners? association wants to sell a lien of theirs, to have more cash on hand, it makes perfect sense to me.
