: SERIOUS QUESTION...NEED IMMEDIATE HELP !!! =?=?=?=?=?=?=?=?=?=?= Sandie, now that your ex-husband filed bankruptcy he has, inadvertently perhaps, provided you with all kinds of time! The bankruptcy stops the pending foreclosure in its tracks. And it won?t move forward again for at least a month, and usually a lot longer. So you and Moms can stay there free, for as long as it takes for the lender to convince the bankruptcy court to grant them relief from the automatic stay. Since knowing how long you have before being evicted is so important, it is incumbent upon you to keep in touch with the postponement notices of the party conducting the foreclosure on the house. Perhaps your attorney could find out for you who that party is and their phone number. Then just call up the foreclosure processor and get the current foreclosure sale date. Then a week before that scheduled sale call up again to verify that it is still on. It it?s been postponed you will be noticed of the new date during that phone call. Hope this helps.
