: Ward,

: I could call Wells Fargo, but since I'm here and it's sometimes difficult to get straight answers from a loan clerk:

: Do you know if they will lend directly to a land trust or corporation, or do you have to deed out of the trust(or corp)and back after loan closing?

: Thanks, Dave

Dave, we have done five transactions so far, where Wells Fargo makes their loan directly to a title holding trust of ours. It's been a different trust every time. I individually qualify for the loan using my credit record and I sign the promissory note but my trustee signs the deed of trust on behalf of the trust.

If you have any difficulty just call Develyn Glover with Wells Fargo at the Hillcrest Branch here in San Diego. Or just call me and I'll intercede to help you.

I refuse to deed in and out of the trust. There's certainly no privacy of involvement when you're on a recorded deed transfering your interest back and forth for the world to see.

Good luck.
