Financing the FC buyout

Posted by Chris OH on November 08, 2001 at 9:24 PM

Ward,
You've followed the story of my (our) buyout of a FC 100 + yr old home. I currently own a $180K home that isn't up for sale as of yet, but it is nearly ready for market. I need to move quickly to be able to make an offer to the owner of the FC property since sherriff's auction is next Friday. Any tricks up your sleeve on arranging for bridge loans or any other financing to purchase this property? I'll probably have to make a few Mtg payments while my current hosue is being sold and during the renovation of the new property stage. I have one week to move. Any tips?

Looking for creative financing
