Re: Auctioneer GuidelinesIn Reply to: Auctioneer Guidelines posted by Jay on October 04, 2001 at 2:48 PM : Ward, I have been looking for the Codes for the foreclosure auctioneers guidelines and I have had no luck. : I need to know if the auctioneers can have there parents buy properties for them. : Need some help, I don't know if this are even breaking any guidelines in the first place to complain.. Thanks =•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•= Jay, there are CA codes affecting the behavior and even licensing of auctioneers, except for the auctioneers at trustee’s sales! Yes, I think an auctioneer’s family can buy a foreclosure on her behalf as long as the sale is conducted along with and no differently than all other foreclosure sales are under the same auctioneer. Speaking loud enough to be heard and not repeating info are complaints you should bring up with the company the auctioneer works for. Preferring to qualify last is a common bidder tactic. If you’re afraid the amount of money you brought is being disclosed just do what I do, qualify with a lot more than you intend to bid.
