Property Tax AuctionGoing to a property tax sale in CA and wanted to confirm and ask a few things. If I win…: 1)I get the land and everything on it, even if it includes a house/condo/etc. 2)I get the land/house/etc. free and clear of everything except any IRS liens and certain other special assessments that are RECORDED. 3)Should I be concerned if I am buying a unit in a vacation resort. Not a timeshare, but the complex and unit is similar to what you might expect to be a timeshare. For example, Unit 1 in the Palm Beach Villas resort. The defaulting party is the Palm Beach Villas HO, so I wondered if they might put up a big stink after I take ownership. Not that I care if I am protected. 4)The sale is in a month so I am going to go do my title work on the properties I am interested in and want to be sure I don’t miss anything. 5) Do I use the same 3 day quit notice to evict if it is a homeowner or a 30 day vacate if a renter? I am not looking for a big detailed answer, yes/no are fine. I have read the books but just getting a bit nervous that I am going to miss something and lose my shirt. I attended a Marshal sale 2 weeks ago and auction fever was running high. Property went for 100% of FMV as far as I could tell. Thanks guys Follow Ups: Post a Followup:
