: Ward: I created a family trust in CA some 25 years ago, and hold all of my real estate in this Trust, of which I am the sole trustee. In fact, I personally do not own one nickel.
: Question: Is there any advantage, one way or the other, of setting up a second (Title Holding) trust?

Ben, you can tell I was having fun last night too. Glad you were there.

As far as trusts go we create individual trusts to hold title to individual properties. There’s no extra expense in creating multiple trusts so we do it to not lump all of our properties together. That way if we get sued on one property it’s not going to threaten the loss of our other properties since they aren’t connected together under the same trust.

Good luck.
