Civil Code Section 2945.4In Reply to: Calif. Code 2945.4 posted by David - CA on July 07, 2002 at 1:21 AM : If a seller is beyond his 5 day right of recission and you get a deed and a limited power of attorney, are you in violation of CC 2945.4? It prohibits a POA. Is the foreclosure consultant law just if you accept money for your services? I'm confused and scared! =========== David, you guessed itCC Section 2945 is meant to inhibit grifters from scamming people who are in foreclosure by collecting fees from them for dubious help. Youre probably OK.
