If so, then should I change the agent to someone else such as family member? Are they at any risk by being in this position of agent? If they have the same last name as I do is that also a less than perfect shield for privacy? Thanks for being a wonderful resource of knowledge! =========== Heywood, I dont think people are going to jump to the conclusion that a member of the LLC has any interest in the trust, especially if the name of the LLC seems to be that of an agent. The point of using an LLC is that theres afforded all members of the LLC limited liability. Yes, I feel that the lack of similarity of surnames is an advantage.
