: What happens to a HOA lien if it is filed in the midst of the property owner's bankruptcy, eg, BK filed 1/10/00 and the HOA lien filed 6/10/00. Foreclosing lien filed 1/10/01.

Recording an HOA during during a property owner's bankruptcy won't defeat the HOA. Nor will any other later recorded lien adversely affect an earlier recorded HOA.
