Get insurance binder right after trustee's sale buy.In Reply to: posted by LarryVV on May 02, 2002 at 4:44 PM : After I acquire a home at a Trustee Sale but before I subsequently resell it I think I need insurance protection against fire, vandalism, casualty, etc. The equivalent of a homeowners policy. But when I checked with my insurance agent he said he didn't write that kind of policy. He referred me to a commercial underwriter but that wasn't his area either. : I think I need this kind of insurance for the relatively brief period we're holding the property. Does anyone have any suggestions about who writes this kind of policy? =•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•= Larry, You’re right, you need to get an insurance binder to protect your property the minute you buy it at the trustee’s sale. So I have that arrangement with my insurance agent, Tracy Webster with Farmer’s Ins. Agency here in San Diego (619) 583-0130. Follow Ups: Post a Followup:
