: I bought my first house at trustee sale. There is someone living in it who says they bought it from the original owner. they don't know anything about about a foreclosure etc. =•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•= Rich, Funny that they didn’t know about the impending trustee’s sale when a Notice of Trustee’s Sale has to be posted to the main entrance to the property prior to the sale, hmmn. Never mind, their excuse for non-action seems to be confusion. So I’d visit them one more time telling them that if they haven’t vacated by the following Sunday at 4:00 PM that you’re going to have to initiate an eviction lawsuit, called an Unlawful Detainer. Explain that the consequence to them is that it will show up every time any potential landlord runs a credit check on them whenever they attempt to rent a decent place for the next 7 years. If they don’t move then follow up with the unlawful detainer. Use a local landlord/tenant attorney who advertises in the local apartment owners association monthly magazine.
