: I would like to know what some of the words are that are used to distinguish that a second trust is being foreclosed on in a Notice of Trustee's Sale newspaper ad? I live in Washington and am having some trouble distinguishing from the ad if it is a first or second trust that is being foreclosed on?

Keri, there’s no hint in the published NOTS of the position of the foreclosing lien! To figure that out you have do an accurate title search at your local county recorder’s office.
