: I'm assuming that this would be a title company you have a rapport with because you use their services. How do you do this? Give them the court record number of the documents you want? Does the title company keep duplicate microfilm of all of the county records, or just what they courier'd to the courthouse? (That would imply you need to identify which title company prepared which document at the courthouse, then request them later from the appropriate sources.)

You give the Customer Service rep the recorder’s document numbers of the docs you want faxed to you. Title companies have a microfilm record of all documents recorded on a daily basis going back for years and years. A lot of it is now being converted to digital images that are indexed and stored on computer hard drives.
