: What are the laws or guidelines as they pertain to requiring a real estate license?

Ward explains in some of the older posts that he thinks a RE license could actually be a potential liability as a "flipper". (Although I have read other "flippers" say it's worth getting the REALTOR's(tm) training materials and understanding their side of the biz, without actually taking the real estate license exam.)

: From my understanding, if you buy it in YOUR NAME and sell it .. you don't need a RE license either.

Have a look at the posts talking about the benefits of Trusts and the detriments of holding property in your name.
