You can get free REO information from other sites, without needing an agentIn Reply to: Questions about EBay's Real Estate services (and others) posted by JC on April 02, 2002 at 7:37 AM Hi JC, I'm also located in the Bay Area, and so I definitely feel your pain in this housing market! :) The bad news is that, if you are interested in REO's, there seem to be very few to be had in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties. Now, if you are talking about doing pre-foreclosures, I think you might have more luck...particularly if you are willing to put in the homework to find people going through foreclosures after the Notice of Default, and understand the civil codes involved.
