Re: Title Holding Trust, Course 101In Reply to: Title Holding Trust, Course 101 posted by Ward-CA- on March 31, 2002 at 1:40 PM : Sean, I have a suggestion, come take my 5 hour, one-on-one trust class. We’ll tear a trust apart and then put a real one together for you. I am considering taking the THT training sometime. One of the things which really pisses me off about buying property, is that when you are settling into your new house, the water filtration people, and air-conditioning people, carpet cleaners, tree trimmers, pest control, life insurance, mortgage insurance (and every other knucklehead that subscribed to these courthouse marketing lists) just rings the phone off the wall. I think it could be worth the price of the course to avoid this, even if I never buy a foreclosure. I made the "mistake" of refinancing my house twice in my name. So there are 3 recorded trust deeds out there for computers to pick up my name. I especially hate those "you're pre-approved for a new home loan" calls. It should be obvious that I ALREADY refinanced. Instead, it just generated more calls. Ugggh! It's driven me into the habit of not answering my own phone anymore. I just look at the caller ID now, and pick it up only if I know who it is.
