: Hi,
: Will you please some basic information on how a bidder at a Trustee sale verifies the funds available with the Trustee? How much time prior to the sale does this typically occur? Are all the bidders in line to show the Trustee their cashiers checks, etc.?

: Great website! Thanks for any input,
: Kevin

Kevin, at the scheduled hour the auctioneer will announce she is ready to qualify anyone who wants to bid and ask that they approach her one-by-one and show her their checks.

The auctioneer will separately note the total amount of money each bidder has qualified with. In some counties the auctioneer will ask a newbie to fill out an information card for her with their adddress and phone number and show her their driver's license.
