: Hey Ward... in our phone conversation you said maybe Eric knows about my BK question. I don't have his email address so I'll just ask here in hope of getting an answer. Two questions...
: 1) On PACER, in the info box on a particular person's BK it stated that it was a Chapter 7. There was one of the little info boxes that asked "Paid?" and it was marked "Yes". What does that mean?
: 2) If a guy has done a Chap 7 and had a discharge of his debt. Is there the possibility that the liens on his home could also have been discharged?

: Could the 55K 2nd, that has never been paid on, because it was a balloon that required just one full payment, be wiped out by the BK? Could the BK court have turned his house over to someone to sell or some such? Or... do all liens on a piece of real estate remain unaffected by a Chap 7 and can only be dealt with by the lenders foreclosing?
