: Given: 2nd noteholder two months into redemption period on NOD. Trustor files chapter 13. What action, if any, should bene take to protect himself or to make the process to trustee,s sale faster? =•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•= Jim, a bankruptcy filing will temporarily stop the progress of a creditor’s action, such as a foreclosure, until such time as the lender’s lawyer has persuaded the Court to grant the Relief From Automatic Stay prayed for by the foreclosing beneficiary. At that point the foreclosure can continue to move ahead towards the ultimate trustee’s sale.
