Hi,

I assumned loan on home i live in from mom.
when when i got i paid lawer fees i did not opt for title
insurance. 3 yrs later when i try to refinance lawers
say there is 23k lien from her back income taxes. If she \
got a away with it im happy for her. But she has tax
statements that say she paid all her taxes. And she say
she dont know nuthing. She poor now. Im poor. She live in
trailer now. Does lien go away. Its not my lien its on my
property not on me or her. Does lien draw interest or get
bigger. Lien not my fault. If possible i would rather me
settle lien then mom pay old taxes. Do either of us have
choice? Can I find out if i being scammed by lawers? What
lien? Why she not know she very christian. Same lawers do
the refinace. I will contact county recorders office tomorro.
Lawers contact me 1 day before i refinance and say u cant
refinance but u gotta come in and sign papers in case we clear
this up ull be ready to refinance. Note: my wording not
proper but to the point to safe space.
