Check the CCR's, but "owning" a house in a 55+ community should not be a problem for someone younger. Think about it...many younger adults might buy a condo for their parents in those communities. "Occupants" need to meet the requirements. And, many of these 55+ HOA's will allow younger occupants for a "short stay"....like 60days per year or so.
