So your Notice of Belief of Abandonment should clearly state that you're storing their personal property off premises for safe-keeping and that you will turn it over to them as soon as they call you. The procedure for acquiring the Writ of Possession incorporates several steps. You can't personally execute it. You or your attorney have to deliver it to the Sheriff's Department for them to execute on your behalf. That's what authorizes the Sheriff to go through their lock-out procedure.
: My only concern is that they may break in to get the junk left behind. There is a TV, a few mattresses, a kid's BMX bicycle and some bunk bed frames as well as some other crap. It looks like trash to me, but you never know what people want.
