So, you can simply find upcoming sheriff sales by looking for Notices of Levy that recorded in the County Recorder's record in the last three months. Because sheriff sales occur so infrequently, there's no service you can subscribe to like you can for non-judicial foreclosures. So you won't be bothered by much competition. -----------Ward ====================== : Ward, I am interested in buying in a particular area of southern california where : properties are foreclosed on via a judicial foreclosure because most of the properties : are owned in partnerships. For example, because of the size of the parcels, each : parcel typically has 3 owners, each with 1/3 interest in the parcel. Although I doubt : anyone is being foreclosed on in this area, I would love to find out when/where judicial : foreclosures take place in this particular county (santa barbara). Any tips on where to : find out about sheriffs sales?
