: : I realize that I'm not Ward, but, really, are you serious? 40 miles
: : Forty miles? 40? With an eight hour charge cycle? For $40,000?
: : 5 to 10 grand more than the better cars? This has Pacer written all
: : over it. Buy 3 Hyundais and call it a day.

: It's $350 a month. If my commute is 40 miles each way (80 miles round trip), I'd be spending $264 a month to fuel one Hyundia. The estimated cost of electricity is 1/4 the cost of gas. Unless I can lease 3 Hyundia's for $150 a month (the difference after fuel savings), I will not be calling it a day.

The key to the whole thing will be a "cost efficient "battery available to the general public.I mean it will be available at Albertsons,K Mart ,Pepboys.

Why hasn't "Solar Power" been embraced? Why dont you see one on every rooftop?

Answer; A cost effective, user friendly, available [I mean Home Depot available] Solar Cell Battery. When that day comes ,people wont have shingles, they will have low profile "solar cell shingles available in 30 popular colors".

Dont fret guys and gals ,it's just around the corner. You'll probably read about it in a foresighted article in "Fine Homebuilding" magazine first,,,
