Pilot (trainee): "OK..uh, tower...uh, I mean ground control...I'm over here by the thing that people get into the thing...I mean plane...I mean Jet.

The engine's making some kinda noise...I think it's been turned on...cause there's a lot of noise coming from outside...

...Oh, and there's someone outside waving their hands at us...me!

What do they want?

Where's the 'fly' switch? Is it marked?

...I wonder what'll happen if I turn this.....SWOOOOOSH!.......ZOOOOOOM!"

Yes, Christina, by all means let the know you are the owner. However, how are they going to know that? Do you think you'll need to show them something?

What do you plan to tell them?

What if they aren't impressed and ignore you?

What if they threaten you?

You need a plan, and the first thing on your list should be to hire an experienced professional to navigate your way through the legal and practical aspects of ganing possession. Can it be done by anyone? Well, yes, with the right expertise. However, mess this up and it could cost you a fortune.

In case you missed the corollary, experienced pilots aren't too thrilled with people who leep before they look.

My advice is to take a deep breath, take stock of what you've done right, and hire an experienced eviction attorney to either help you to negotiate cash for keys or represent you for the U/D.
