The house has been abandoned for awhile but the property is still in his name (I guess b/c the bank cannot do anything while he is in bankruptcy?) Property taxes are paid and current but the mortgage has not been paid for 2 1/2 years. Why would a homeowner pay the property taxes but not the mortgage?
