24 hours notice

Posted by tim on July 24, 2010 at 7:06 AM

Has anyone ever tried to serve a 24 hour notice to inspect on a property that you just
bought at Trustee sale. I know someone trying to do this and I think he is over the top
insane and he won't listen to reason. He keeps calling the occupants showing up
announced at the property and they have identified themselves as tenants. I told him
that any inspections would be by courtesy only. AM I INCORRECT. My understanding is
that he would need a court order to get into the property. I have not been able to find
any reference on this board to this action or anywhere in CA. Property sold on Wed this
past week so he has even recorded his Deed yet. I think he is insane, and liable for
hugh penalties for his actions
