: 1000sqft -1700sqft
: 3 bd /2 bath
: yard size 5,000 sqft-8,000 sqft
: 1 level.

: Not a foreclosure question exactly, but I thought this may be a good source for info.

: : I'm looking to buy several single family rental properties in Riverside, CA and need to narrow my parameters to find what I think would be a good long-term rental. I have my ideas but what do you guys think?

: : sqft
: : bedrooms/baths
: : 1 level vs. 2
: : yard size...etc?

As a 25 year landlord one of the most important factors
for me has been LOCATION.

With a good (above average) one I avoid the biggest stress,
not enough well qualified applicants.

And of course those houses/apts are far easier to
sell when full of 'normal' and happy paying tenants.

Purchase a copy of Leigh Robinsons' "Landlording" book
for all the details. You will need it.
