Does that mean that next time would be different? ;-). I'm not new to investing, if that's what you mean about the airplane thing. Full-time investor for +15 years. Pretty new to California, but did a pre-foreclosure deal recently, so I'm not starting off. Just wondering, if there's a creative way of still doing the deal, if it's within the 5 days. So, basically, what I'm hearing is 'no'? Michaela : I suggest you to just pass this deal at this time. You are trying to fly an airplane before learning to fly, too dangerous. It is not that simple like there is a step-by-step to follow to close this deal and you can avoid all potential problems. Be ready first, there are always lots of good deals like you mentioned over there. : Skimmer : : : I'm wondering what to do, if you come across a really hot pre-foreclosure and the seller is willing to let it go for a steal. : : BUT, the auction is less than 5 business days, and the contract gives him/her 5 business days to back out. : : How do you avoid the possibility that the seller let's you pay off the mortgage and then changes his mind the day after?
