: Anyone noticing the re-sale of properties is slowing down? Seems like before houses were put on the market there would be multiple offers within a few days and I don't see that now. Any idea why or when it will pick back up?

I work a tiny sliver of a area in the Inland Empire. I've been active in this area for a few years and am currently seeing a huge slow down in activity on the houses I'm re-selling. My market is primarly FHA fist time buyers and during the tax credit one of my homes in the MLS would get 15+ offers. I currently have two on the MLS that are going on several weeks with a 4% commission. One house has an acceptable offer that we are countering the details on and the other one is going nowhere fast. The one with zero activity is a nice, ready to move in home that is the cheapest price per sq. foot in the area. I've purchased/sold seven or eight in this specific tract in the last 18 months and am frankly surprised as all heck at the lack of interest on this house.

I'm going to put it in as a 5% commission at the end of the week if I still don't have offers.
