: I'm not filing bk. But I had to prove and document my income. Someone told me of a scam(but legal way) where they can record the loans one minute after each other and so there's a second deed or something like that. Is that possible or again just the rumor mill?

It would not matter, the intent of both parties (you and the lender) is that both Deeds of Trust are entered into for the purchase of a home.
