Re: How to obtain judgment info on a propertyIn Reply to: How to obtain judgment info on a property posted by john darvey on July 05, 2010 at 6:28 PM It really depends on what you already know about title research and what kind of services your county recorder has online. Your title company can do a prelim and that will show judgments. If you're good with the research and your county has their grantor/grantee index online, you may be able to get a picture of what's going on. But unless you have a service that allows you to look at the actual docs, you'll only be able to see that there is a judgment, but not any details. If this is a one shot deal, just call the title company and ask for a prelim. : Hey guys and gals : i was wondering if anyone of you could help me determine if a given california property has any judgments levied against without having to resort going to the county recorders office? : thanks : John
