No, the change in control form is filed with the State Board of Equalization... not with the county recorder's office.

And the form isn't required just because a property owner deeded his property out of his name and into his trust.

: does this form take the place of the preliminary change of ownership form ? or is it in addition to ?

: in the past, whenever i have placed a property in trust, i give them a grant deed and a preliminary change in ownership form.
