How should I proceed? Do I still serve a three day since they are related? Yes, serve a 3-day notice. 1. Call a local eviction attorney. If you don't know one, check with a property management company and ask who they use. 2. Ask the attorney for a copy of the form he uses for foreclosure evictions. It will be different from the form used for non-payment of rent. 3. Serve the notice. 4. Be prepared to hire the attorney if the tenant doesn't move within 3 days.
