Geri: I have data subscriptions with two providers. The one that is county specific, doesn't pick up the non disclosure of tax, hence no price info. My national provider does have the transfer tax for just about every sale, including those sales where the transfer tax is not on the deed.

At first I thought it was manual as well, that the data services had someone on the ground or making calls. But now I'm not so sure. The information IS public, just not on the face of the deed. It may well be that some county recorders are providing the non disclosures as part of their data feed and charging for it.

Non disclosure is really not accurate. It is disclosed, it is public information, just not on the face of the deed. The privacy this used to provide may be coming to an end, or will at least be altered quite a bit.

: What County is this in? I can't imagine they are manually calling every Recorder so maybe a certain County is providing it in their data feed by accident.
