[ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ The Forum Board ] [ FAQ ] Buying Preforeclosure Owner Occ Home in CAL Posted by gamb52 on June 30, 2010 at 6:59 AM I am relatively new to buying foreclosures and I have an opportunity to buy a preauction property in California - property is in default and scheduled for sale next week... the homeowner will agree to allow me to reinstate the loan and take "subject to " his exisiting mortgage for an agreed upon cash for ewuity deal. I do not have enough funds ti do this deal on my own so I want to bring in an equity partner to partcipate and who will go on title. ... but I am concerned about the laws restricting preforeclosure purcahses and the title report has language addressing the foreclosure consultant act etc that looks like it will make it difficult to flip the property w/. I only have a fw days to deal w/ this before the auction next week...any help / suggestions would be most appreciated! Thanks Follow Ups: Cart before the horse...
